What is Raw Hair?

Raw hair is the purest type of real hair extension in the hair market. Raw hair is the highest grade hair that is cut from a single individual donor and then is sanitized and bundled up. The hair that not been processed through chemicals or high heat temperatures. The cuticle is 100% intact, meaning that is all going in one direction. Can I bleach/dye the hair?

Yes! Our Raw hair can be colored and/or bleached at any level desired as it is 100% unprocessed raw hair. Our hair is extremely versatile. Please note after you have colored the hair, it is now considered chemically processed. Ensure proper maintenance by keeping hair conditioned and moisturized to ensure longevity of hair expectancy.

How long will the hair last?

With good maintenance and proper care, our hair can last 3-5 years. Raw hair should be treated as if it is your own hair so try to keep hair maintained. Remember that excessive heat and/or color can result in the reduction of the natural pattern of the hair.

How many bundles do I need?

Depending on how full you would like your hair depends on the lengths you select. For lengths 12-14 you will need 2-3 bundles. For lengths longer than 16 inches you will need 3 to 4 bundles for a much fuller look. The longer you get your bundles, the more bundles you will need to avoid thinner appearance. 12"-16" 2 Bundles , 18"-24" 3 Bundles , 26"-32" 4 Bundles , 34"-36" 5 Bundles Each bundles weighs 3.5 ounces (100g). Keep in mind that since the hair is sold by total weight the rule is: “The longer the hair, the shorter the weft.”

Does this hair shed?

It is also normal for you to experience shedding. However, Raw hair has minimum shedding. To prevent any shedding, we recommend that upon the installation, you stitch AROUND the weft and not through the weft. Also, if you cut your tracks, you may experience shedding due to the fact the weft is now broken and strands are easier to slide out. Remember, proper maintenance is extremely important and advised.
